Hello chess friends, that's about the upcoming World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships 2014 to be held in Dubai this June. ;) Indeed, something to look forward to right after the Norway Chess Tournament that is currently being played in Stavanger.
Both reigning World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen and former World Chess Champion Viswanathan Anand are registered to play. The chess championships will run from June 15 to 21 with most of the world's top chess players being there to take a shot at the title. Participation is open only to players rated at least 2500 in any of the three FIDE rating lists (Standard, Blitz or Rapid) as of March 1, 2014.
Here's the list of top-10 players taking part. (Read the complete list at the official website).
Both the defending World Rapid and Blitz Chess Champions 2013 Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Le Quang Liem will be playing. Read the official website for more technical details and regulations.

That's cool but since it's not round robin they just not might meet over the chess board and question is can Carlsen do a triple or double world title?
