WGM Claudia Amura is Argentina National Women's Chess Champion

Hello Chess Blog friends, the latest FIDE national chess championship update is that Claudia Amura has become the Argentina National Women's Chess Champion 2014. 


The 67th edition of the Argentina Individual Women's Chess Championship was held from May 1-9, 2014 at the Villa Martelli, in San Isidro – a Municipality of Argentinian capital Buenos Aires.
The tournament was a 9 round Swiss with a time control 90 minutes per player plus 30 seconds per move, starting from move 1.
WGM Claudia Amura grabbed the title and 15 000$, collecting 7/9 points, leaving the runner up WIM Florencia Maria Fernandez half a point behind. Third place was shared by WIM Zuriel Marisa and Maisa Nejansky with 6/9.
