Russian Team Chess Championships 2014 begin in Loo

Hello Chess Blog friends,


The Russian Team Chess Championships for Men and Women has begun in Loo, Russia. The event runs from April 7-14 parallel to the Women's Chess Grand Prix being held in Khanty Mansiysk.  year.

There are 13 teams in the men's section including at least 15 Grandmasters rated over 2700! There are four teams in the women's section. 


Some top players in the two sections include:
top players like GM Alexander Grischuk, GM Sergey Karjakin, GM Leinier Dominguez Perez, GM Peter Svidler, GM Nikita Vitiugov, GM Ian Nepomniachtchi, GM Peter Leko, GM Dmitry Jakovenko, GM Alexander Morozevich, GM Gata Kamsky, GM Baadur Jobava, GM Sergei Rublevsky, GM Alexey Shirov, GM Vladimir Malakhov, GM Viktorija Cmilyte, GM Valentina Gunina, IM Alisa Galliamova, IM Anastasia Bodnaruk, IM Ekaterina Atalik, IM Ekaterina Kovalevskaya, WGM Alina Kashlinskaya, etc.
The prizes in the men's section
1st Place Team - 300 000 roubles.
2nd Place Team - 200 000 roubles.
3rd Place Team - 100 000 roubles.

Board prizes
1st place - 30 000 roubles.
2nd place - 20 000 roubles.
3rd place - 10 000 roubles.

Teams ranked 1-8 places in the men's team championship of Russia in 2014 are eligible to participate in the men's team championship of Russia in 2015. Teams that win in the men's team championship in 2014 Russia places 1-4 are eligible to participate in the European Cup in 2014 clubs.

The prize fund for the women's section

1 Place Team - 200 000 roubles.
2 Place Team - 150 000 
roubles.
3 Place Team - 100 000 roubles.

Board prizes 
1st place - 20 000 roubles.
2nd place - 15 000 
roubles.
3rd place - 10 000 
roubles.

Teams 1-3 places in the women's team championship of Russia in 2014 are eligible to participate in the Russian women's team championship in 2014 with a minimum fee, as well as the right to participate in the European Clubs Cup in 2013.

    Most of the world's GMs are there wow trust em to hold a chess event anywhere in Russia and it would be strong enough!!!
