The World Chess Candidates 2014 is set to begin March 11 with the first round on March 13. It's just the excitement chess fans are waiting for as the event will give the world the challenger to reigning World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen of Norway. Here's a short quiz. How ready are you for the big chess event:
1 - Who is the highest rated player among the eight players of the Candidates 2014?
2 - How many Russians are there among the eight - in fact can you name all eight and their countries?
3 - Who is the oldest among the players and the youngest?
4 - How many of these eight have played the Candidates in 2013?
5 - Which players from the London Chess Candidates 2013 are not there in the 2014 edition?
Happy solving! Meanwhile, here's the update on the official website that went live recently.
