WIM Khayala Abdulla is Azerbaijan Women's Chess Champion 2014

Hello everyone,

The 2014 Azerbaijan Championship for women was held from 5-15th March in Baku. Twelve players competed in the round robin tournament. The average elo was 2180.
WIM Khayala Abdulla emerged new national champion after completing the event with 8/11 points, leaving WGM Gulnar Mammadova and Aytan Amrayeva half a point behind. Photo: Andreas Kontokanis.

1. WIM Abdulla Khayala 2248 - 8
2-3. WGM Mammadova Gulnar 2334 and Amrayeva Aytan 2000 - 7.5
4. WFM Mammadzada Gunay 2175 - 7
