IM Shamima Akter Liza has won the 34th edition of the Sultana Kamal 34th National Women's Chess Championship-2014 of Bangladesh. She beat Mahmuda Hoque Chowdhury Moly in the 11th and final round on Monday to win the title.

Liza scored nine wins and lost two games in the event to win her third national title. The previous two titles came in 2005 and 2010.
Nazrana Khan Eva was second and Rani Hamid beat Zakia Sultana in the tiebreaks to win the third place. Zakia was fourth followed by defending champion Sharmin Sultana Shirin and Tanima Parveen.
