Hello everyone,
The foundation of a chess museum in Europe was something that was previously just a dream. Finally with the sponsorship of the local government in Figueiró dos Vinhos, (in the central region of Portugal, near Leiria), the dream became a reality. Its primary mission is to conserve chess heritage and also to promote chess. More information can be obtained at: www.museudoxadrez.pt.
