Magistral Ciutat de Barcelona – Casino de Barcelona 2013 was held on 25-31st October at the Gran Casino of Barcelona (Marina Avenue, 19-21). The tournament format was eight-player round robin. Hungarian Grandmaster Csaba Balogh took a clear first place with 4,5/7 points.
Final standings:1. GM Balogh Csaba 2640 HUN – 4,5
2-4. GM Hansen Eric 2584 CAN, GM Edouard Romain 2665 FRA and GM Narciso Dublan Marc 2509 ESP – 4,0
5-6. GM Shankland Samuel 2605 USA and GM Alsina Leal Daniel 2548 ESP – 3,5
7. GM Lopez Martinez Josep Manuel 2543 ESP – 2,5
8. GM Ftacnik Lubomir 2550 SVK – 2,0
