Five rounds have been played at the open chess tournament being held along with the Anand vs Carlsen Chennai World Chess Championship 2013. Grandmaster M R Lalith Babu of India defeated GM Ter-Sahakyan Samvel of Armenia and now shares the lead with GM Vidit Santosh Gujrathi (India) and IM Mozharov Mikhail (Russia) among others. All the leaders have 4.5 points.
