Hello everyone,
GM Alexey Dreev drew the last round game with India's GM GN Gopal to win the Indonesia Chess Open comfortably. In other results of the last round, GM Nigel Short (6.5) beat GM Alexander Moiseenko (7.5), GM Surya Shekhar Ganguly (7) drew GM Batchuluub Tsegmed (6.5) and GM Abhijeet Gupta (6.5) beat GM Marco Sandro (7).
GM Alexey Dreev drew the last round game with India's GM GN Gopal to win the Indonesia Chess Open comfortably. On the lower boards with remaining players on 6.5/10 and in contention for a top-ten finish, GM Oliver Barbosa found GM Dao Tien Hai too strong as the former Vietnam No. 1 comfortably halted his Kingside attack and then converted the endgame, GM Shyam Sundar M ended WGM Elisabeth Paehtz’s fine run, GM Susanto Megaranto quickly drew IM Nguyen Duc Hoa, GM Vaibhav Suri beat GM Darwin Laylo and GM Cao Sang lost to GM Vadim Malakhatko.
