Chess Blog for Daily Chess News and Trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2013
Hi everyone,
Hi everyone,
Here is some chess news from South Africa. Lusaka, the capital and largest city of Zambia, is getting ready for a 200-player chess tournament. This should be a first for them. Lusaka Province Chess Association chairman Chileya Bwalya says the competition is aimed at promoting education through sport. The tournament begins next week. It's great to have the sport of chess becoming popular across the world.
