World Chess Championship Venue Chennai Hyatt Regency Arrangements Okayed by FIDE

Hi everyone,
FIDE officials have inspected the World Chess Championship 2013 venue in Chennai and okayed the playing arrangements at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. FIDE officials Geoffrey Borg and Israel Gelfer along with FIDE vice-president DV Sundar and All-India Chess Federation CEO Bharat Singh visited the venue on Thursday.
World Champion Viswanathan Anand's wife and manager Aruna also visited the venue.
Gelfer told journalists, "I think the facilites are fantastic. We are very happy with the conditions here and it has been a thoroughly fulfilling exercise."
Logistics involved in the event, such as lighting in the playing hall, players' rest area, seating arrangements were among issues discussed.
