US Chess Talent 8-Year-Old Chris Shen on Playing the Game

Chris Shen, an eight-year-old from Powell who, just two years after he picked up the game, is known as the No. 1 player of his age in the country. He is featured in this nice video by Columbus Dispatch.

  1. America has lot of chess talent and our kids our now making chess news with the likes of kamsky, naka, kayden... chess is surely happening in a big way in America. I am proud of it. Soon enough we should have a world no. 1 or world champion in chess from the US.
