40th Selangor Chess Open in Kuala Lumpur from April 26

Hi everyone,
Here's some nice chess tournament news for fans looking for an event in South-East Asia. The FIDE-rated Selangor Chess Tournament will be held at DAT Chess Connections, 4th floor, Wilayah Complex, Kuala Lumpur from 26th April to 1st May.
The schedule:
26th April (Friday) Round 1 @ 7pm,
27th April (Saturday: Weekend) Round 2 @ 9.30am,
27th April (Saturday: Weekend) Round 3 @ 3pm,
28th April (Sunday: Weekend) Round 4 @ 9.30am,
28th April (Sunday: Weekend) Round 5 @ 3pm,
29th April (Monday) Round 6 @ 7pm,
30th April (Tuesday) Round 7 @ 7pm,
1st May (Wednesday: Public Holiday) Round 8 @ 9am,
1st May (Wednesday: Public Holiday) Round 9 @ 2pm.
The schedule has been planned in such a way to accommodate working adults and school-going children from Selangor and KL without applying for leave from office/school. While, foreigners / local players who reside outside Klang Valley can use the weekdays to visit places of interest within KL e.g. KL Birdpark, Chinatown, Masjid India, MidValley Megamall or shopping malls within Golden Triangle area. As for Selangor, outstation players can always visit places like Sunway Lagoon, Batu Caves, Pulau Ketam and etc. You can even make a day trip to Genting Highlands - City of Entertainment, approximately 1hr journey by bus from KL Sentral / Puduraya bus station.
