Guam Chess Open Begins Feb 15

Hi Everyone,
Guam chess news has not been coming for some time. So, we were delighted to find this nice chess report and video. Guam Echecs will host the 2013 Guam International Open Chess Tournament at the Bayview Hotel in Tumon, from February 15 to 20, where finest players from Australia, England, South Korea, Palau, Poland, Philippines, Taiwan, US and Guam will compete. This event is sanctioned by the world’s chess body, Federation Internationale des Echecs (FIDE). For the next 5 days actual chess matches between the FIDE masters from Poland (IM Jacek Stopa), England (Christopher Briscoe), Australia (Brian Jones), Ashwin Siqi (Taiwan) and finest players from Guam and from other countries.
