Donate Chess Sets to John Carroll University
Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2012
Hi everyone,
We found this little chess advert tucked away in cyberspace and just thought if any of you could play Good Samaritan this week. If you are in the area of the John Carroll University, go on help out with some chess boards!
The notice states: CSSA is looking for gently used chess sets in order to start a chess club at Saint Thomas Aquinas School. JCU tutors will teach elementary students the basics in how to play chess during their weekly service aftercare sessions this spring. If you have a chess set that you are no longer using and would consider donating it to this new activity, please drop it off at the CSSA office in AD-32 by Feb. 1.
