Women's World Chess Championship 2012 Begins Saturday with Illusion, Music Show

A special segment will have a Black Chess Queen and a White Chess Queen take on each other in battle!
The ensemble of wind instruments 'Siberia Brass', the famous illusionist Evgeniy Kaverzin, bayanist Dmitry Zhdanov, saxophonist Aleksey Peresidly and also the group 'AngeliQuie and The Band', dance theater 'Ugra-Classic' and pop dance theater 'Show-tiny tot' are going to entertain the audience as well.

A special illusion show and Siberia Brass music show will be part of the opening ceremony of the Women's World Chess Championship 2012 on Saturday, November 10. The main theme of the opening ceremony would be to recreate a "mysterious world of the chess space". The ceremony will take place in the Concert and theater Center 'Ugra-Classic'. According to the chief director of the Opening Ceremony Inna Golysheva, the organisers will have an interesting mission: not just to tell about the chess world, but to make so that every guest has become the part of the created space chess: “We want to convey the intensity of emotions, which is presented in every game, to show that for a women- chess players it is not just a game, but the art, time, step into the future, and passion.”
