GM Sanikidze wins 10th Open International d’Echecs du Jura on Tiebreak

The 10th Open International d’Echecs du Jura was held November 16-18 November at the Sociét’halle in Moutier, Switzerland. The tournament was played over 5 rounds of Swiss system with the Fischer time control 90′+30” among 98 players. Grandmasters Sanikidze Tornike 2568, Maze Sebastien 2561, IM Battaglini Gabriel 2434 and Staub Ludovic 2158 shared the first place with 4,5/5 points each. Sanikidze was declared winner on superior tie-break. Top seeded GM Sokolov Andrei (France 2577) finished in the group of nine players with 4,0 points each.
