The 17th Bora Kostic Memorial, honoring the first chess globetrotter, is taking place from 20-30 November at the Hotel Srbija in Vrsac, the city of his birth, according to the latest chess news via Fide. Six players are competing in the double round robin tournament: Kiril Georgiev (BUL 2660), Predrag Nikolić (BIH 2650), Dmitry Svetushkin (MDA 2589), Nikola Sedlak (SRB 2572, winner of the 15th Bora Kostic Memorial in 2008), Ognjen Cvitan (CRO 2535, World Junior champion 1981) and Boban Bogosavljević (SRB 2524).
The average elo of the participants is 2588, making the tournament of 14th FIDE category. The official website will provide daily live games, except on the rest day on 25th November.
