Hi everyone,
This is an interesting piece of chess news all the way from Lahore, Pakistan. In fact, we didn't know such a chess record existed! Congratulations to Pakistani girl Mehar Gul for setting a new Guinness World Record on Sunday at the Punjab Youth Festival 2012 in Pakistan.
Mehar Gul, the 12-year-old girl, completed setting up the beginning position of a chess game in 45 seconds to set a world record. The adjudicators of the Guinness World Records (GWR) were stated to be at the venue, according to news reports. According to news reports, several other records were set at the event as well in various non-chess events.
