Cool Chess Invite Video: A Full Night of Chess (30 Rounds) in Thessaloniki this Saturday

Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2012

Hi everyone,

We found this very interesting chess tournament video invite for October 6 in the Greek city of Thessaloniki. They are holding a special chess festival this Saturday which involves chess problem solving, chess tournaments and an overnight chess tournament marathon of 30 rounds!

Triandrias Chess with the cooperation of Mayoralty of Youth, Sports, and Volunteers of Thessaloniki are organising the event. That's 30 rounds of chess over 17 hours - how long would you last?

There would be several other chess events including a chess simul by John Papaioannou. Have fun and let us know of your chess adventures around the world.
