Winning Chess Game Puzzle: Spot the Killer Move
Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2012
Hi everyone,
Hi everyone,
How tough is it to win a won chess game? You need to make double the effort to find the killer move. Here's a game from the Istanbul Chess Olympiad. (Can you guess who played it?). How accurate are you? Black has just played Ka8 after the Qc7+. The Black Queen is saving the checkmate on b7. What is the killer chess move here that will force Black to resign?
