Two Chess Videos: Playing Chess with an Invisible Opponent

Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2012

Hi everyone,

What's the charm of playing chess with an invisible opponent? What's up with folks? We found not one, but two videos on an interesting theme. Check 'em out!

In the first video, André Bolini plays a chess match against his imaginary friend. (Soundtrack: Joseph-Maurice Ravel.) The second video is on the same theme and animation. Is there any existential, philosophical, or just-chessy meaning to either video? ;)
