FC St. Pauli Chess Open Begins July 7 in Hamburg

Hi everyone,
The 3rd FC St. Pauli Chess Open 2012 will be held from July 7-15 at the Ballroom in the FC St.Pauli South-Stand (Heiligengeistfeld 1), Hamburg, Germany.
The players will be divided in Open A (rated 1800 and more) and Open B (U1900). Both groups are 9-round swiss events.
Prize Money: minimum 10,000€ guaranteed prize fund
A-Open 1st prize 2000 €
Rating prize ELO < 2200 / Rating prize ELO < 2000 / Prizes for Seniors / Prizes for Women / Prizes for Juniors
B-Open 1st prize 800 €
Rating prize ELO < 1600 / Rating prize ELO < 1400 / Prizes for Seniors / Prizes for Women / Prizes for Juniors
Top rated players are: 2581 GM Ghaem Maghami Ehsan, 2542 GM Luther Thomas, 2521 GM Huschenbeth Niclas, 2489 GM Okhotnik Vladimir, 2471 IM Kopylov Michael, 2469 IM Cuenca Jimenez, 2441 IM Chevelevitch Evgueni, 2438 IM Feuerstack Aljoscha, 2418 Javakhadze Zurab.
