Sixth Leiden Chess Tournament from July 6

Hi everyone,

The sixth edition of the Leiden Chess Tournament is being organised by Stichting Denksportpromotie Nederland, a foundation for mindsports, at the Leiden Denksportcentrum, from July 6 – 15, 2012. The tournament format is Swiss nine rounds according to FIDE rules with two byes possible in the first six rounds. For both groups A and B KNSB rating points and obtained FIDE ratings will be forwarded to the FIDE organization.


The total amount (prizes) will be > € 5500 euro (at minimum of 120 players),
first prize will be: A-group € 1750 euro and B-groep € 500 euro.
Entry fee:Group A (> 1900 ELO) and group B (< 1950 ELO):
payment before July 1st € 50,00 and after July 1st € 55 at the playinghall
FIDE titled player with a rating over 2350 pay no entree fee
