European School Chess Championship on in Greece: Six Rounds Played
Hi everyone,
Some chess news from the European School Chess 2012 currently being played in the picturesque city of Kallithea, Greece. Six rounds have been played so far. Andrey Esipenko in the U11 Open group and Wassel Bousmaha in the U7 group are the only ones with a perfect score in the championship. They are in sole lead in their respective groups.
CM Cankut Emiroglu and Agil Pirverdiyev are in joint lead in the U17 section. They are 1.5 points ahead of the rest of the players. CM Vahap Sanal and FM Ali Marandi Cemil Can are leading in the U15 section. The U13 section is led by Bulat Murtazin and Volkan Sevgi.
WCM Arda Cagil Irmak and Hereklioglu Sude are leading the U11 girls section. Sade Defne is leading the U9 Girls section. Sole leader of the U9 Open section is Uzumcu Ahmet Utku.
