Cool Chess Video Clip from American Sitcom Family Ties

Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2012

Hi everyone,

Remember Family Ties? The American sitcom that won several awards and was aired on NBC for seven seasons from 1982 to 1989? The sitcom captured the transition from the cultural liberalism of the 1960s and 1970s to the conservatism of the 1980s. The show won three consecutive Emmy Awards for Michael J. Fox for his role as the lead actor in a comedy series.
This Chess clip appears in "Checkmate" (Season 4, Episode 20) from Family Ties (January 30, 1986).
