World School Chess Begins in Romania with Record Number of Participants
Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2012
Hi everyone,
The World School Chess Championships have begun in Iasi, Romania. A record number of participants -- 532 young players from 37 countries -- are taking part in the event. It is always such great fun to watch children play. More chess news reports have to come in from the event. Till then, you can access the official website of the chess tournament here.
