Hi everyone,
Exciting things were happening in the third round at the US Chess Championships 2012. The top two rated players pulled ahead of the group with fine wins. Top seed GM Hikaru Nakamura and defending champion GM Gata Kamsky are in joint lead with 2.5/3.
The standings after Round 3 have Nakamura and Kamsky with 2.5, Kaidanov, Lenderman, and Shulman with 2.0, Onischuk, Hess, and Akobian at 1.5, Ramirez and Stripunsky at 1.0, Robson at 0.5 and Seirawan yet to open score.
