Tennis Queen Maria Sharapova Wants to Learn Chess

Hi everyone,


Guess whom we found on Facebook expressing a 'profound' chess desire. Of course, the Tennis Queen Maria Sharapova from Russia. Here is what she writes on her FB page.
Here is what I was doing while in Stuttgart...no no, not playing chess, just taking walks in some of the parks and pretending like I knew what I was doing with a chess board. Would be nice to learn...perhaps it will help my patience. -- Maria Sharapova




Wouldn't you highly recommend that the Tennis Queen and the Chess Queen meet up for a chess dinner?

    i like when chess queen plays tennis but its great to have sharapova play chess maybe we can have a team chess contest too with both queens on one team like tennischess/chessboxing/pokerchess

    oh wow i mean the chess set (wink) no no wow both chessboard and maria - now what would be a great photo op would be chess queen and tennis queen together on this chess board
