Italian national chess champion Fabiano Caruana has won the 20th edition of the Sigeman Chess Tournament organised by Limhamn Chess Club from May 9-16th in Malmö, Sweden. This year the event had a round robin format with eight players.

Italian national chess champion Fabiano Caruana has won the 20th edition of the Sigeman Chess Tournament organised by Limhamn Chess Club from May 9-16th in Malmö, Sweden. This year the event had a round robin format with eight players.
Fabiano Caruana won the chess tournament with 5.5/7 points, half a point ahead of top seed Peter Leko of Hungary. You can access more details at the official website of the event.

1. GM Caruana Fabiano ITA 2770 – 5.5
2. GM Leko Peter HUN 2723 – 5
3-4. GM Grandelius Nils SWE 2556 and GM Giri Anish NED 2693 – 4
