Ibero-American Chess Begins April 13 in Quito, Ecuador

Hi everyone,
 
Chess players from 21 countries have confirmed participation in the the 4th Ibero-American Championship to be held in Quito, Equador from April 13-23. The players include 13 Grandmasters. The first four winners of each group will qualify for the first hexagonal round to fight for the first six positions.

According to Jaime Hidalgo, president of the Chess Association of the Pichincha province and head of the event, this championship would attract a large number of spectators. You can read more here.
