Germany's Biggest Chess Open Begins April 5 in Stuttgart

According to the latest chess tournament update via Chessdom, the 16th Int. Neckar-Open will take place on 5-9th April at the Gemeindehalle in Deizisau, Stuttgart, Germany. The total prize fund is 15.000 EUR.

The biggest chess open in Germany attracts more than 700 players in three groups and offers a prize fund of 15.000 Euro. With nearly 100 titleholders and more than 20 Grandmasters the A-Group will be this year the strongest ever.
Top seeded player is GM Etienne Bacrot, while GM Arkadij Naiditsch will be back to defend last year’s title. The tournament starts on 5th April (Thursday) at 6:30 pm and ends on 9th April (Monday). The top 16 boards will be broadcasted live on the official website.
