Claudia Amura wins Edith Soppe Chess Memorial

Hi everyone,

Some Latin American chess news via www.chessdom.com. WGM Claudia Amura has won the first edition of the Magistral Edith Soppe which took place from March 2-8 in San Luis, La Punta. Organised by the local university and government, the tournament was a closed event with the participation of six players which included one GM, two IMs, one WGM, and one WIM.
 
Claudia Amura collected 7,0/10 to win the event with a full point advantage ahead of IM Carolina Lujan, while the third place went to IM Francisco San Alonso.
