Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2012
Hi everyone,
The official website of the Anand Gelfand 2012 World Chess Championship match is now online at http://moscow2012.fide.com.
One month and 15 days to go for the championship! The site already contains lots of information about the rules of the championship, the schedule, players presentation, and more. You can replay the latest games by the World Chess Championship 2012 contenders here (a nice link via Chessdom).
You can also read what some of the leading grandmasters have to say about the world championship here.

I think a more apt world title match should include - in the present times - the past four to six world champions plus new challengers so i would have liked to see kasparov, anand, topalov, kramnik, gelfand, and carlsen play in moscow and then we have a new world champion. :)
