47th Capablanca chess memorial in May

Hi everyone,
The traditional Capablanca Chess Memorial - the 47th edition this time - would be held from May 3 to 15 at the Riviera hotel in Havana, Cuba. The Elite Group will once again be a six-player double round robin.
Players who have confirmed their participation include GM Vassily Ivanchuk (2766) of Ukraine, 5-times winner of Capablanca Memorial, and the Cuban GM Leinier Domínguez (2730), three-times winner, and Lázaro Bruzón (2691), with one win.
The Premier Group will be a 10-player round robin with other top Cuban players and at least four foreign Grandmasters. This event will sport average elo of above 2550.

The Open A Group will be played over 10 rounds of Swiss system with about 100 participants. This group will have strong presence of foreign players and will allow the possibility of obtaining FIDE title norms.
The Open A will accept the players with international titles and those rated above 2200 FIDE. All other players will be seeded into Open B, which will also take the format of 10-rounds Swiss.
The participation must be confirmed by email to the Organizing Committee and then in person at the Tournament Technical Meeting on May 3rd in the evening. The emails are: isla@inder.cu, vilela@inder.cu, riveroc@inder.cu.
