The latest chess news via www.chessdom.com is that rating favorite Evgeny Tomashevsky was held to a draw at the start of the 2012 Aeroflot chess tournament. Tomashevsky did not continue his game against Aleksandrov and signed one of the shortest draws of the day in just 15 moves.The young talents Caruana and Le Quang Liem started with victories by defeating Dmitry Bocharov and Boris Savchenko.
