Each of the girls will of course have a different rank so if you collect all the appropriate 18 pieces you will be able to throw out your old set of “boring” normal chess pieces in lieu for the corresponding Madoka pieces. So just what rank does everyone recieve?
King – Madoka
Queen – Homura
Knight – Mami
Bishop – Sayaka
Rook – Kyoko
Kyubey – Pawn
These pieces will come in at around 300 yen each and given you would need 18 pieces in total to complete a one-person set, it would set you back 5,400 yen or about $AUD 68.50 at the current exchange rate. There will also be two different variants – a realistic version of the standard black-and-while chess set and a full-colour version.
