41st Rilton Chess Cup R6: GM Aleksandr Shimanov in clear lead

The chess news update from the 41st Rilton Chess Cup being held in Stockholm from December 27 to January 5 is that GM Aleksandr Shimanov from Sankt Petersburg maintained his lead after six rounds by beating GM Erwin l’Ami.
GM Dragan Solak - who is representing Turkey for the first time - beat GM Hans Tikkanen and was in second place with GM Slavko Cicak and former Rilton Cup winner GM Eduardas Rozentalis.
