Team chess event in Arab Games 2011 begins

Hello everyone,
We have more chess news from the Arab Games where the team events have started. Here are some details via Fide.
The 12th Arab Games 2011 are taking place from December 9 to 23, 2011 in Doha (Qatar). The team chess event started on December 13 with 63 players from 13 countries in the open section and 40 players from nine countries in the women's section.
Top chess players of the Arab world including GMs Adly Ahmed and Amin Bassem from Egypt, Qatari Al-Modiahki Mohamad, Al-Sayed Mohammed and Zhu Chen, Salem A R Saleh from UAE are taking part in the event.
