Hello everyone,
One of the strongest grandmasters of our times, Vassily Ivanchuk has opened a chess school in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. Congratulations to the Grandmaster. GM Ivanchuk said, "When we created this school, I wanted first of all, that children would discover something new, learn a lot, find new friends, learn to think logically. And, in general, they should know that they live in this wonderful city that is famous for its chess and sports traditions."
GM Ivanchuk said children can start learning chess at the age of six - or younger if they are attracted to the game. GM Ivanchuk would be teaching himself at the school along with a few teachers he has selected.
