The Tal Memorial Chess Tournament 2011 with a dream line-up has begun in Moscow, Russia. The players include
Magnus Carlsen (2823, Norway), Vishy Anand (2817, India), Levon Aronian (2802, Armenia), Vladimir Kramnik (2800, Russia), Vassily Ivanchuk (2775, Ukraine), Sergey Karjakin (2763, Russia), Hikaru Nakamura (2753, USA), Peter Svidler (2755, Russia), Boris Gelfand (2746, Israel) and Ian Nepomniachtchi (2730, Russia). How many can you spot in the photo?
The first round pairings include
Aronian - Carlsen, Kramnik - Nepomniachtchi, Ivanchuk - Svidler, Anand - Karjakin and Nakamura - Gelfand.

According to live show it appears Carlsen will begin with a loss. Not a very appealing idea. Kramnik has also lost it seems. I feel sad.

Even if one of the participants has a lower rating, as it is with China’s Wang Hao or Russia’s Ian Nepomniachtchi, they nevertheless have formidable power. There is certain discrepancy between the rating and the quality of their skills,” said Aronian to R-sport agency.
He is all set to beat Carlsen in Round 1 - Come on levon

Just want to correct Mr Volkswagon - Levon missed the 50.Bc7 and it's going to be a draw I think.
