Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2011

Hi everyone,

Grandmaster Vladimir Kramnik is leading the Unive Chess Festival Crown Group after three rounds. As you know, the crown group is playing a traditional double round robin event with a strong four-player field including Grandmasters Vladimir Kramnik, Anish Giri, Judit Polgar and Maxime Maxime Vachier-Lagrave. You can access the official website at this link.

Here is a nice video from the opening of the tournament.

  4. Only two wins and both by Kramnik so far. All others draw.

  5. Why they have only four players traditionally? Even six would be nice. More chess that ways. I am cheering for Kramnik in this one.
