The US Chess Scoop headed to the Marshall Chess Club during the start of the 95th Club Championship. Features GM Pascal Charbonneau, FM Asa Hoffman, Marshall manager Dr. Marcus Fenner, former club champ FM Brian Hulse and 13-year-old NM Justus Williams.

  3. At the age of 12, Justus Williams has become the youngest African-American player to ever be awarded the level of chess master by the United States Chess Federation. A Bronx native and student at I.S. 318 in Brooklyn, in just four years, Justus transformed from chess novice to certified chess master.
