Never-say-die chess puzzle for a happy week!
Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2011
Hi everyone,
Hopeless is not lost in chess. Can something save the day? Possibly for Black this time round.
In the given position, Black was hopeless and had just given check with Queen on g1 upon which White King moved to g3. But what next?
So, Black to play after Kg3 and not lose. Can you figure out the answer?

Not lose? Well does that mean draw? Or are you hinting at a stalemate? Wink. I know the answer. But as always being the first to guess won't write it down yet.

The best part about chess is always a new game awaits. Just checked solution in your gameplayer. Interesting stalemate idea.
