Morozevich leads with a 5/6 at Saratov Chess Tournament

Alexander Morozevich is in great form and has notched up a nice 1.5 point lead over the others with a 5/6 score at the strong Saratov Chess Tournament.
The Governor's Cup for the Saratov Region is being held from October 7-20 and is a 12-player round robin including Evgeny Tomashevsky, Dmitry Andreikin, Evgeny Alekseev, Alexander Morozevich, Nikita Vitiugov (all Russia), Ruslan Ponomariov, Alexander Moiseenko, Pavel Eljanov (all Ukraine), Alexei Shirov (Spain), Ni Hua (China), Peter Leko (Hungary) and Michael Roiz (Israel). The games are played at the FIDE time control; the venue is the auditorium of the Saratov State Socio-Economic University.
