Korchnoi chess simul at Schach Bundesliga 2011/12

Hello everyone,

For those thinking about chess leagues and Germany here is the update on the Schach Bundesliga. The season 2011/12 begins on October 14 and the three rounds will run till October 16. All games will be covered live via the Liveportal.




Throughout the three days there will be live commentary at the venue. There will be a blitz tournament every day also and the highlight will be a simul exhibition with Viktor Korchnoi. The living legend will play against 25 opponents on October 15.

    I still remember when Viktor Korchnoi was playing against Karpov for the world title long time ago when I was young and learned chess. These were interesting times.
