Hi everyone,
It's a pity the Black Bishop has to betray his King and leave him alone. But how did White lure him off the board? Can you figure that out? Enjoy.
You can run the gameplayer to see the solution. However, we have given just one set of the solution because if you can work out the answer motif, you would be able to work out the alternative answers for the Black King on the 3rd move and subsequent White move as well.

Nice chess puzzle but way too deep for me to calculate that far. In any case I am still learning the Bishop+Knight checkmate so I would have offered draw heh hehe heh
ReplyDeleteI strongly disagree with the headline there. As always I feel there is a bias towards women on this blog. You guys go all out to praise women chess players in general and this headline is a reflection of that. If it were a Queen you would say how the Queen got trapped but since it's a Bishop so you guys have to use a word like 'betrayal'. Well, I am a psychiatrist by profession so I needed to point that out. Overall of course my comments are always nice and I love you Alexandra - my Chess Queen.
