The latest chess news from Shenzhen where the second of the Women's Chess Grand Prix is currently on is that Hou Yifan and Ruan Lufei have shot into joint lead after the seventh round. In the previous round we have five players in joint lead. But it were Yifan and Lufei who alone scored wins in the seventh round to get ahead.
Hou Yifan won over Tan Zhongyi while Ruan Lufei beat Yildiz Betul Cemre. All the other games were drawn. You can find more details at the official website.

Three players on 3.5 are Ju Wenjun, Viktorija Cmilyte and Zhu Chen. On three is Munguntuul Batkhuyag. Following her, with two points are Ekaterina Kovalevskaya and Elina Danielian. On 1.5 is Yildiz Betul Cemre.
