The latest chess news from Shenzhen is that both the overnight leaders - Hou Yifan and Zhao Xue were held to a draw by Yildiz Betul Cemre and Zhu Chen respectively. Two other games were drawn too: Anna Muzychuk-Batkhuyag Munguntuul and Ruan Lufei-Ju Wenjun. However, Tan Zhongyi beat Ekaterina Kovalevskaya while Viktorija Cmilyte beat Elina Danielian.
